Join us every First Friday of the month in the Benson Creative District for a night filled with art, live music, food, and community! From 5 PM to 2 AM, experience a variety of gallery openings, art exhibitions, local vendors, and live performances at venues across Maple Street and beyond!

The Middle of NOWhere Rural Art & Music Festival brings together artists, culture bearers, musicians and vendors in rural environments to showcase the gifts of our diverse communities. Through facilitating exciting arts and cultural events we engage visitors who might be crammed up in the city with a chance to connect to the rural places that we love. Expect food trucks, games, and collaborative art activities.

Join us for a community paint day on Wednesday, July 9th! Community members are invited to show up between 5pm - 8pm and decorate a fish for Sioux City's newest storm drain mural!

The Sioux City Art Center's Biennial Exhibition returns this summer. The theme for this year is Climate/Change, and was juried by Elizabeth Gollnick, PhD., Associate Curator at the Des Moines Art Center.

Join us, Thursday, August 1st from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Sioux City Art Center for complimentary beverages and experience this exciting exhibition for the first time, show casing artwork by some of the region's most ambitious artists.

With a presentation by Dr. Gollnick at 6:00pm.
